We are searching for animal technicians for our expanding Biological Services Unit.

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic individuals to join our team of technicians, at the Biological Services Unit, Royal Veterinary College, Camden campus. You will be involved with the husbandry and associated care of a range of animals e.g. rodents, zebra fish, farm animals and ferrets as required in our research and teaching department.

The ideal candidate must have experience in carrying out routine animal husbandry, observations, environmental monitoring and record keeping. Have knowledge and application of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 and the Code of practice for the housing and care of animals bred, supplied or used for scientific purposes, experience of substance handling, administration and sample collection in animals (training will be provided).

You must have a good level of housekeeping and good record keeping skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in furthering their animal technology career whilst also interested in the advancement of veterinary and medical science.
