Applications are invited for this senior and strategically important post.  You will report to and work with the Vice Principal for Research & Innovation (VPRI) to ensure delivery of RVC’s strategic objectives in research. You will be responsible for operational management of the Research & Innovation Office, which manages RVC’s external grant and knowledge exchange portfolios.  You will oversee grant administration processes, lead data reporting to stakeholders (RE, HESA, UKRI, HEIF etc), coordinate institutional REF and KEF reporting, and manage RVC’s intellectual property and industrial collaborations. Further, you will help the VPRI identify and develop initiatives and strategic research opportunities.

If you have an excellent understanding of HEI research administration and of the UK science funding environment, and can motivate a diverse team to work across disciplines, then this challenging role will be a rewarding one for you.

A generous salary package (at Grade 9 level) is on offer commensurate with experience.
