Do you enjoy working with people and delivering a high standard of client care?
Would you like to work in a veterinary service helping pet owners access veterinary care?
We have a new role for a Trainee Veterinary Receptionist who is looking to join the profession and gain formal qualifications in customer service and veterinary reception.
Learning practically whilst working day to day alongside our dedicated team, you will receive support and guidance from our experienced veterinary reception team, in a supportive learning environment.
The Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital is the first opinion small animal teaching hospital for the Royal Veterinary College. Located within walking distance of Camden, Euston, and Kings Cross Stations, we have a spacious, modern Hospital, with separate species-specific clinical facilities, offering routine and non-routine first opinion small animal procedures. We provide high quality veterinary care to the local community, as well as a specialist exotics referral service. Our hospital is patient focused, making animal welfare a top priority and our final year veterinary students complete clinical rotations through the year alongside our veterinary nursing students. We hold numerous gold standard accreditations and were selected the winner of the Vet Wellbeing Awards ‘medium practice’ category 2019.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in all aspects of our busy reception, delivering the best level of comprehensive care and customer service to our patients, clients, and the veterinary community. You will spend one day per week studying with the College of Animal Welfare to gain your VetSkill Level 2 Certificate for Veterinary Receptionists and also gain the Customer Service Practitioner qualification (Level 2 Apprenticeship).
If you want to begin your veterinary services career in a supportive environment amongst compassionate and caring colleagues, the BSAH is the place for you!
