We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated RVN to take leadership of our dispensary.
You will be responsible for the management of our dispensary. Your duties will include liaising with external and internal stakeholders, maintenance of the laboratory equipment, advising clients on their patients’ medication, creating and updating SOP’s. Working alongside our dispensary assistant you will also be carrying out daily dispensing duties such as making up client’s medication.
Our university teaching hospital is based in Camden and this role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your confidence, as well as develop your teaching skills by supporting final year vet students and acting as a clinical coach to our trainee nursing students.
This is a full-time role (35 hours/week), with 4 days on-call every 1 in 16 weeks and occasional weekend cover for annual leave.
The Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital is the first opinion small animal teaching hospital with a specialist exotics referral service for the Royal Veterinary College. Located within walking distance of Camden, Euston, and Kings Cross Stations. We have a spacious, modern hospital, with separate species-specific clinical facilities. We provide high quality veterinary care to the local community, as well as a shelter medicine teaching programme in support of our objectives for clinical service, teaching, and research.
