We are looking for a Client Services Coordinator to join our friendly Out of Hours team at the Royal Veterinary College, working 68 hours over a rolling four-week rota, within the hours of 18:00 to midnight weekdays, 08:00-midnight weekends and Bank Holidays. 

The Client Services Coordinators are responsible for supporting the Senior Client Services Coordinators and the Customer Care Team Leader Out of Hours, supervising the running of the emergency out of hours service and front of house of the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals, and achieving team tasks and goals.

Our state of the art small animal hospital has some of the best facilities in the World, allowing specialists to perform cutting-edge treatments to help pets. The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals is the largest Veterinary facility in Europe, and treats conditions from acute heart failure to advanced neuromuscular diseases, joint replacement to epilepsy. The Out of Hours team handle incoming emergency referrals from other Veterinary practices as well as cover a large number of first opinion practices when they close. The Hospital is always busy and you will oversee a high volume of patients coming into the hospital for emergency treatment, making the role both rewarding and interesting. 

This role offers an excellent opportunity to use and develop your skills in all aspects of our busy Front of House, delivering the best level of comprehensive care and customer services to our patients, clients and the Veterinary community. You will work alongside RVC clinical teams and students, to provide a friendly and professional customer focused service, including telephone advice, appointment bookings and account queries. 

The successful applicant will be passionate about providing a high level of customer service, sharing knowledge with colleagues and students and have experience of reception work in a busy client focused environment and an enthusiastic and personable approach to client and patient care.
