The post will be a full-time role of 1 FTE/ 35 hours per week

The Head of Course Support will lead and manage course administration (currently comprising timetabling and course support) of the Course Support division across the undergraduate and postgraduate taught provision of programmes at the RVC. As part of the Academic Registry leadership team, the successful candidate will support the Registrar in the strategic and operational delivery of the RVC priorities within Registry.

The postholder will review and develop robust, agile and sustainable provision ensuring a high quality and consistent service to meet the needs of emerging internal and external agendas critical to the institution’s development and success.

The post holder will be expected to develop key operational skills across their provision of responsibilities in order to ensure that operational as well as management support can be provided to the team members during peak times and at times of absence. 

Founded in 1791 the RVC is one of the largest and longest established veterinary schools in the world.   Ranked as the top veterinary school in the QS World University Rankings 2022. The RVC offers outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, and biomedical sciences and carries out world class veterinary and bioscience research ranging from the molecular level through whole animal to population-based studies.  

The post will work across both campus but can designate a main campus either Camden or Hawkshead.   Interviews will be held on 14th December at the Camden Campus
