Our new and unique nursing fellowship programme is the first of its kind offering an opportunity to join our state-of-the-art hospital, the Queen Mother Hospital for Small Animals, working within the anaesthesia department whilst completing an RCVS-accredited postgraduate certificate.

This is ideal for an RVN keen to develop and fast-track their nursing career specialising in all aspects of anaesthesia nursing. You will join a strong team of anaesthetists and specialist anaesthesia RVN’s, and you will learn advanced drug pharmacology, patient physiology and how to design individual peri-operative patient protocols. You will be monitoring anaesthesia in a wide range of interesting and challenging cases, including Ophthalmology, Soft Tissue surgery, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery and MRI.

This position is full-time working 35 hours per week, with a variety of shift patterns including some weekend and on-call overnight work.

Referral nursing experience is not essential.
