            <p id="isPasted">The Royal Veterinary College Equine Referral Hospital is internationally renowned and is fully equipped with state of the art surgical, diagnostic, and critical care facilities. &nbsp;</p><p>We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified and registered RVN/REVN, with experience of working in an equine hospital or practice environment. We would ideally like a qualified candidate, but second-year students will also be considered and, if appointed, would be in a reflective salary. This is an exciting and varied position for a dedicated hard-working individual to build on their equine skills and knowledge. The successful candidate needs to have good organisation and time management skills to work independently and as part of a bigger team. The right applicant will have the fantastic opportunity to work with some of our internationally renowned clinicians in all areas to include medicine, surgery, and diagnostics. Our Equine Hospital is fully equipped with state of the art surgical, diagnostic, and critical care facilities, whilst our highly skilled team of practice veterinarians operate out of bespoke veterinary vehicles with high spec portable equipment.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The Deputy Head Equine Nurse role is a varied and demanding support position for a dedicated hard-working individual delivering exemplary nursing care and ensuring that the team supports a positive learning experience for all VN trainees and under- and postgraduate students in the Equine Hospital. Reporting to the Head Nurse, the role is responsible for supporting the management of a team of qualified RVNs, nursing apprentices and equine technicians. Working alongside our internationally renowned specialist teams in Equine medicine, surgery, and diagnostics, you will support the Head Nurse, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">With a focus on delivering the highest standards of patient care, you will play a key role in working with the Head Nurse to identify areas for continuous optimisation of services, implementing and reviewing policies and procedures to support clinical compliance.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The successful candidate needs to have a positive can-do attitude, team leadership skills and experience in working in a busy Equine Hospital or practice. The ability to work independently and as part of a bigger team is also required.
