            <p id="isPasted">We have an exciting opportunity for a dermatology RVN keen to develop their nursing career and specialise. The successful candidate will work as part of the dermatology team in our friendly multidisciplinary referral hospital. &nbsp;Working as part of a team of specialist clinicians, residents, interns, RVNs and Patient Care Assistants you will be involved in a range of interesting and challenging dermatology cases.</p><p>Your role will include:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Assisting our dermatology clinicians in delivering a high standard of patient care, including support during consultations, diagnostic procedures, and treatment</li><li>Supporting with a variety of dermatological diagnostic procedures (e.g. skin scrapes, cytology, allergy testing, biopsies) for both outpatient and hospitalised patients, with the opportunity to follow cases through from diagnosis to management</li><li>Participating in dermatology clinics, including coordinating patient admissions and discharges, and providing regular patient updates</li><li>Delivering excellent nursing care for dermatology patients across the hospital, including those with chronic skin conditions and complex treatment plans</li><li>Engaging in client communication, including admit and discharge appointments, providing guidance on at-home skin care, medication administration, and follow-up protocols</li><li>Contributing to the teaching and support of student veterinary nurses and veterinary students during clinical rotations, particularly within the dermatology service</li></ul><p>This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week, a combination of 5 x 7hr days Monday to Friday.             <p id="isPasted">We currently have an exciting opportunity for an RVN to join the Orthopaedic Team within The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. This position is ideal for an RVN keen to develop their nursing career and specialise in Orthopaedic nursing.             <p id="isPasted">We currently have a unique opportunity for a RVN to work part-time twilight hours (Fri-Sun 18:00 - 02:00) within our Emergency and Critical Care team.</p><p>Our multi-disciplinary hospital accepts a range of referral and first opinion cases. In addition to state-of-the-art facilities, we are the only recognised Level 1 Trauma Centre in Europe with extensive in-house laboratory capabilities and the support of our on-site transfusion service allowing us to provide the highest level of care to critically&nbsp;ill patients. As part of our Emergency and Critical Care team you will be working alongside our experienced specialised RVNs, Patient Care Assistants, students, residents, clinicians and interns to triage and care for patients during their stay in the department.</p><p>Your role will evolve, however you can expect to be triaging and supporting with the stabilisation of patients on arrival to the hospital, in addition to monitoring patients for minor procedures and caring for inpatients seen through our first opinion service.</p><p>Working hours will be 21 hours every weekend, Friday-Sunday working twilight shifts: 18:00-02:00.
