Exciting teaching opportunities in Animal Management and Clinical Farm Animal Management at The Royal Veterinary College

We have two exciting opportunities in the Department of Pathobiology and Population Sciences. One will focus on the teaching of Animal Management across a range of species and the other on Clinical Farm Animal Management teaching within our BVetMed Veterinary degree and associated courses. Both positions will be based at the RVC Hawkshead Campus in Hertfordshire but will also involve some occasional teaching at other campus locations.

Competence in animal management, handling and the development of key farm skills underpins our ability to produce capable veterinary graduates. For this reason, we are looking to recruit two teaching fellows to contribute to our pre-clinical teaching in Animal Management and clinical teaching in Farm Animal ManagementIt is envisaged that the successful applicants will form a key component of the team that is responsible for the practical teaching and assessment of veterinary students across all five years of our BVetMed and will work closely together during particularly intense teaching and assessment periods.
