We currently have a unique opportunity for a RVN to work part-time twilight hours (Fri-Sun 18:00 - 02:00) within our Emergency and Critical Care team.

Our multi-disciplinary hospital accepts a range of referral and first opinion cases. In addition to state-of-the-art facilities, we are the only recognised Level 1 Trauma Centre in Europe with extensive in-house laboratory capabilities and the support of our on-site transfusion service allowing us to provide the highest level of care to critically ill patients. As part of our Emergency and Critical Care team you will be working alongside our experienced specialised RVNs, Patient Care Assistants, students, residents, clinicians and interns to triage and care for patients during their stay in the department.

Your role will evolve, however you can expect to be triaging and supporting with the stabilisation of patients on arrival to the hospital, in addition to monitoring patients for minor procedures and caring for inpatients seen through our first opinion service.

Working hours will be 21 hours every weekend, Friday-Sunday working twilight shifts: 18:00-02:00. There may be room for some flexibility on hours to be discussed at interview.

*This is a fixed-term position for 9 months*

Referral nursing experience is not required as full specialist training and support will be provided.
