Based in Camden

The Research and Innovation team is looking for an administrator to join them on a temporary basis.

You will be responsible for reviewing and updating records in our research management system using process documents and system guidance and checklists. The role may involve some communication via email to obtain additional information as well as locating and adding basic information from online sources. Training and support will be provided.

You must have some administrative experience and should have some familiarity with databases or other comparable software.  This position will suit individuals who are able to work through large volumes of data methodically and in a structured way, and with the confidence to ask questions and confirm approaches.

The post is temporary for 4-6 weeks to start immediately.

As Chief Executive Officer of LBIC and Chief Business Officer at the RVC, you will provide strategic leadership to drive LBIC’s growth in profitability, reputation, and operational excellence, while ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients and partners. This includes shaping and executing outreach strategies to engage key stakeholders across the life sciences ecosystem, supporting entrepreneurs and start-ups through business programmes and advisory input, and setting financial targets to increase net income and explore expansion opportunities. The position also involves strengthening the relationship with the RVC by leveraging its academic and scientific capabilities, enhancing student and staff engagement, and reporting on performance metrics.   

The role requires a strong academic foundation in a biomedical discipline, coupled with significant experience in business innovation environments, facility management, and commercial financial management within the life sciences sector. Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to build high-performing management cultures and drive organisational performance. Excellent communication and networking skills are essential, with the ability to influence stakeholders and maintain relationships across investors, developers, advisors, and entrepreneurs. Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities are critical, including experience in market analysis, long-term planning, and the development of business plans, funding proposals, and reports.
