            <p id="isPasted">An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Estates Department for an Assistant Maintenance Technician to support the delivery of a professional planned and reactive maintenance service across our Hawkshead Campus.</p><p>This important role helps ensure our busy hospitals, laboratories, accommodation, offices and teaching spaces remain safe, functional and well maintained at all times. We are looking for a practical and enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn and develop their skills within a maintenance environment. You will assist with a wide range of maintenance activities across the campus, working alongside skilled maintenance technicians and supporting the upkeep of buildings, infrastructure and equipment.</p><p>Working as part of a multi-skilled maintenance team, you will undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks, assist with inspections and repairs, help maintain plant rooms and workshops and support the delivery of an effective and efficient Estates maintenance service. You will also liaise with colleagues, contractors and suppliers to help ensure a high standard of service is provided across the campus.</p><p>This role demands a flexible approach to work and will require the successful candidate undertake training as required and occasionally work at our Camden Campus when operationally necessary.             <p id="isPasted">An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Estates Department for a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to provide a professional planned and reactive electrical maintenance service across our Hawkshead Campus.</p><p>This important role helps ensure our busy hospitals, laboratories, accommodation, offices and teaching spaces remain safe, compliant and fully operational at all times. We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations and equipment, together with the ability to diagnose faults and undertake repairs to a high standard. You will hold a recognised electrical qualification, such as NVQ Level 3, City &amp; Guilds or equivalent, and have a sound understanding of current electrical regulations, health and safety requirements, and safe systems of work.</p><p>Working as part of a multi-skilled maintenance team, you will undertake both planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities, maintain accurate records of work completed, and work closely with colleagues, contractors and other Estates teams to ensure an effective maintenance service is delivered across the campus.</p><p>This role demands a flexible approach to work and will require the successful candidate undertake training as required and occasionally work at our Camden Campus when operationally necessary.             <p id="isPasted">We&rsquo;re seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced AV professional to join our team as an <strong>AV/IT Technician</strong>. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing expertise in a fast-paced, supportive, and varied environment&mdash;contributing to the delivery of high-quality IT services across the Royal Veterinary College (RVC).</p><p>In this hands-on role, you&rsquo;ll work closely with the Senior AV/IT Technician, IT Resources Manager and colleagues across the IT department to provide outstanding AV support to students and staff. Based primarily at our Camden campus, you&rsquo;ll also occasionally travel to our Hawkshead campus in Potters Bar to gain familiarity with VC and teaching rooms across both sites.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues across a wide range of audio visual and IT hardware and software, organising part orders, repairs and upgrades and liaising with suppliers. You&rsquo;ll also offer guidance and support to external visitors and speakers with their personal devices, making every day varied and rewarding.</p><p>Success in this role depends on your ability to troubleshoot efficiently, communicate effectively, and collaborate across teams and departments. You&rsquo;ll be key to delivering user-focused, reliable AV and IT services that support the College&rsquo;s broader strategic goals.</p><p>We&rsquo;re seeking someone with strong communication skills and proven experience working with both AV hardware and software in a complex, user-focused environment. Experience in higher education is highly desirable, along with a solid background in AV troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and analytical thinking.             <p id="isPasted">An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the RVC Admissions Team in the role of Senior Admissions Officer. The post-holder will support the Admissions Operations Manager in delivering a high-quality admissions and applicant services function and will have specific responsibility for admissions oversight for specific named courses.</p><p>The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in either a Further Education, Higher Education or Professional Body setting. Experience in admissions, whilst desirable, is not essential but the successful candidate will be a quick learner and able to process large volumes of information quickly. They will be proactive in their approach to work and able to identify areas where change or improvement could be made. The successful applicant will have strong decision-making skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. An ability to prioritise their own workload is a must, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</p><p>This is a fixed term position for 18 months.
