            <p id="isPasted">We invite applications for a 2-year fixed term Staff Clinician position in Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Department of Clinical Science and Services. The service is integrated into the large team of specialists working in RVC Equine and located at our Hawkshead Campus, a 15-minute train ride from the center of cosmopolitan London and near several international airports.</p><p>This post is suitable for an enthusiastic veterinarian aiming to expand his/her clinical expertise by focused delivery of clinical services combined with teaching and pursuing research interests, time permitting. We are looking for a veterinarian with a broad interest in all aspects of equine sports medicine and rehabilitation. The candidate will be supported by our existing team in the development of his/her skills. We welcome equine veterinarians that thrive in the clinical setting and are keen to further their skills and reputation through clinical work and exceptional client service. The position will appeal to those that enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive team environment that offers flexibility and family-friendly working patterns.</p><p>We are looking for candidates with a RCVS registrable degree in veterinary science, who are diplomates of the American or European College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.             <p id="isPasted">An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Registry team at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) on a 14 month fixed term contract to provide maternity cover. The RVC is the UK&#39;s largest and longest-established independent vet school and is a Member Institution of the University of London. The RVC offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing and biological sciences and CPD programmes in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>We are seeking a dynamic part-time Programme Administrator to work with the Undergraduate Programme Manager to provide service delivery in our fast-paced office environment. You will support general communication with students, maintain essential course information and administratively support quality assurance processes. You will assist teaching staff in the preparation and distribution of learning materials for students and support production of student transcripts, letters and status reports. This role will help ensure the smooth running of teaching activities for the RVC.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>The successful post holder will have the ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of customers and have a high level of customer focus. You will be able to work methodically, follow set processes and procedures and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. A pro-active, flexible approach to your work is vital to deal with the competing demands and challenges of your daily work.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Educated to A-Level standard or with equivalent experience, the successful post holder will have the ability to make decisions and work as part of a team, and plan, manage and prioritise workload when under pressure to meet deadlines.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>Veterinary Surgeon - Shelter Medicine Programme- London</strong></p><p><strong>Based mainly at Partner Charity site - Mayhew London NW10&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Part-time, permanent role&nbsp;</strong></p><p>We are looking for a vet to complement our shelter medicine team working one day a week (Friday) at our charity partner site, Mayhew in North London.&nbsp;</p><p>You will spend every Friday at the Mayhew working alongside the Mayhew vet team. The days are busy and involve running a neutering clinic (mainly cat neutering, potentially some dentistry/dog neutering) with final year vet students. You will be teamed up with an RVC RVN. Together, you will support students in developing their confidence in anaesthesia, surgical skills as well as communication and admin tasks.&nbsp;</p><p>Vet students spend two weeks in the shelter medicine rotation at charity partner units learning Day one skills. Shelter medicine vets are expected to have excellent communication skills with both students and our charity partners. Having high professional standards combined with approachability is a key requirement.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Skills required:</strong></p><ul><li>An understanding of shelter medicine/accessible care and the pragmatic approach required</li><li><span data-teams="true" id="isPasted">Must have competed VetGDP</span></li><li>A strong focus on the importance of preventative health care</li><li>Confidence and experience in providing a high-quality high-volume neuter service preferably with paediatric neutering experience</li><li>An interest in providing a high-quality dental service in a low-cost environment</li><li>A proven history of excellent customer service and the ability to contribute positively to a team environment&nbsp;</li><li>Confidence in your own skills so that you are comfortable teaching others is essential.             <p id="isPasted">An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Estates Department for a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to provide a professional planned and reactive electrical maintenance service across our Hawkshead Campus.</p><p>This important role helps ensure our busy hospitals, laboratories, accommodation, offices and teaching spaces remain safe, compliant and fully operational at all times. We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations and equipment, together with the ability to diagnose faults and undertake repairs to a high standard.
