We require a qualified veterinary surgeon to teach in our Comparative Biomedical Sciences Department. You must be a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (UK Practising) or be immediately eligible for registration as the latter.

You will be contributing to our integrated, systems-based curriculum of the first and second year BVetMed programme, our Accelerated year for graduates, our pre-BVetMed Gateway year and our BSc Biosciences and Bioveterinary Sciences courses. The majority of your time will be spent teaching in dissection practicals and small group tutorials based around live animals, and will be a facilitator in some directed learning sessions. You will be an academic tutor to small groups of undergraduate students, and will contribute to the development of innovative teaching aids and our specimen collection. You will participate in our Widening Participation activities, Anatomy Club, and structured selection interviews for applicants to our undergraduate programmes.
