How to apply for a job at the RVC.
We recommend making an online application, as the process is quick and user friendly.
To apply online, you will need to Signup to access our secure application form. To Signup you simply need to provide some personal details, which will go some way to completing the first stage of the application process. Note, you will be able to change this information at Stage 1 of the application process if required.
Once you have registered, you will need to access to the secure application process, which consists of some simple steps in which we will ask you for the information required for your chosen job. You will need to complete each step fully before you can submit your application for consideration. Note, while you are registering online and/or completing the online application, none of your information is available to the Royal Veterinary College ( RVC ). Only once you have submitted the application in the final step will your application be available for consideration.
You do not need to complete the whole application process in one go. If you do not have time, or if the information required is not at hand, you may complete the rest of the application at another time. As you proceed through each stage of the application process your details are saved and so when you return, the information you entered will be retained. To signin to complete an application, or to submit subsequent applications, simply signin using your email address and the password you created when you Signed up.
Submitting a postal application
Postal applications are accepted, however we would encourage you to apply on line as the system is user friendly and simple to complete. Application forms can be requested via email: email@example.com or post (see below).

Once we have received your application.
If you apply online, once we receive your documents we will send you an email to confirm receipt. Normally, you should hear from us by email, within six weeks of the closing date, to confirm the outcome of your application.
How will you know the decision of your application?
If you have applied online, we will normally email you the outcome of your application within six weeks of the closing date. Alternatively, you may sign back into your account where you can track the current progress of your application .
Please note, we contact applicants via email and therefore it is advisable that you regularly check any 'spam' or 'junk' folders of the email address you use to register as some email providers may automatically move emails received from the College's Online Recruitment System into these folders.
